I adapted the G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) desktop memory model F4-3200C16D-16GTZR from the previous configuration.
Motherboard and CPU should fit together naturally from the start. Just a note: I own the same motherboard and used the same G.Skill RAM before. When switching to the Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4, I encountered crashes and XMP issues despite a BIOS update. After replacing the G.Skill kit with another brand, it functioned properly. I still experienced postings and could operate the system, though. The RAM worked in another setup, only the G.Skill kit with this board caused problems. I suggest trying a different RAM model to see if it boots without issues. If that fails, double-check your entire build. Ideally, disassemble everything and rebuild—reinstall CPU, RAM, PSU cables, M.2 SSD, etc.—ensuring all connections are secure. Lastly, if reseating doesn’t help, test the power supply separately; it might be worth benchmarking it outside the case to avoid extra work.
