Hello everyone. I recently set up a pc but apparently something is wrong lol.
All games have stutters, the fps are very high and sudently it drops like 1 or 2 fps and the screen freezes for about 0.5 secs(stutter) it always happens no matter if the graphics are at maximum or minimum.
Do you know what could be doing this? I've already done several installations of windows / graphics drivers, update to bios, use hdmi instead of display port, use 1 ram at a time and it's always the same.
Components:
cpu: ryzen 5 3600
gpu: sapphire nitro + radeon rx 5700 xt
ram: G.Skill Kit 16GB (2 X 8GB) DDR4 3600MHz
ssd: A2000 PCIe NVMe Kingston 1TB
board: ATX Motherboard MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
psu: nox urano vx 650w
case: msi gungnir 110r
monitor: Asus tuf vg32v
thanks in advance

Ensure all recent drivers are installed, covering GPU, audio, and MB chipset. Verify that your BIOS memory configurations are configured with XMP to allow your RAM to operate at its maximum rated speed of 3600 MHz.

Thanks for the response. Everyone's drivers are current; I even checked with the driver booster to see if anything was missing and installed the rest. The Ram is also set at A-XMP for the 3600, but it still experiences stutters without any improvements.

If needed, I recommend performing a comprehensive malware scan. Always avoid relying on third-party driver checking or installation tools—they can often cause issues. It's also wise to run an SFC scan after the malware analysis. Malwarebytes - https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/ SFC Scan (follow instructions) - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us

I don't believe it's malware since I recently set up and installed Windows 10, downloaded only the GPU drivers and a game to test it, and it still stutters.

Unfortunately no... I'm still dealing with the issue. It's really tough to test new parts because of the pandemic, so I think it'll stay this way for a while...
