I purchased a refurbished PC from Newegg, but the internet isn't connecting. After unplugging the Ethernet and restarting the PC, it remains slow. I'm using Chrome.
It's not connecting or it's slow? Not clear from your post. Also, what are the (detailed) specs of the computer? And what is you network diagram? Are you connected directly to the modem or you have a router? A switch? Does internet work well with other devices?
Not getting connected, but I did manage to download some music and apps. I believe I have a router. My PC is a Dell Optiplex 3080. When it didn't connect, I ran troubleshoots and it said the internet was working, then I restarted the Ethernet adapter but it didn't work.
You have a refurbished Dell Micro tower 3080 with unstable internet. You're using Ethernet, router, Chrome, and Windows 11. Restarting the PC sometimes improves connectivity.
