New PC build need help
Hello, I’m preparing to purchase this PC within the next month or two and would appreciate your guidance. Will these parts integrate smoothly? Are there any enhancements I could consider? I aim for 2k gaming performance, targeting over 120 FPS on High/Ultra settings, and I’m okay adjusting a few settings. My main worry is compatibility—do all components fit together properly? I know Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE is ideal, but it’s out of stock, so I’ve found alternatives. All options are within my budget, though I’m uncertain which one offers the best cooling and performance. Could you help with any compatibility or clearance issues? Your advice would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thank you for reaching out. I'm not sure if the Arctic Freezer 36 Black can handle an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D without problems. It might be worth checking the specifications or consulting a professional.
Well, it can be nice, but not quite as effective as big-boy air coolers can (Be Quiet! and Tt).
R7 9800X3D, when paired with a Noctua NH-D15 cooler that delivers 230W of cooling power, reaches high temperatures around 80°C.

Using a cooler with lower wattage results in higher CPU temperatures. The max temperature for this CPU is 95°C, and under full load it might hit that level with an Arctic cooler.
Gaming loads are less intense than full load, so I’d expect the CPU to stay around 70-80°C with an Arctic setup (with NH-D15 it usually stays between 60-70°C during games).
In short, Arctic should work well for you since you’ll likely be gaming rather than doing heavy rendering tasks.
Yh, and I won't always have max max settings on stuff. Thank you very much.
