Hi guys!
I Have a problem , I just built new PC.
I reused the my two SSDs with Windows installed on it from my 10700k.
I updated the BIOS and monitor was working and keyboard, mouse.
Bios update was successfull. After booting again it asked to press F1 to got to Bios setup. I did Bios was updated with new version. Boot drive was selected that has Windows installed already from previous PC.
I just exited the Bios and reset PC , and after that no communication with Monitor , keyboard won't light up or mouse.
PC Specs
Motherboard : Asus X870 TUF Gaming Plus WiFi
CPU: Ryzen 9950X
GPU: 4070 Ti 12GB
RAM: 64GB CL-30 6000
SSD drives are from old PC
Any idea what happened?

Bad idea. With a new PC, a fresh, clean Windows installation is essential. Therefore, format the OS drive and reinstall Windows. Guide: https://forums. Regardless of the OS you had on your SSD, it won’t work with your new hardware (such as different firmware drivers within the OS). So, reinstall Windows again.

I fixed the issue by taking the battery off the motherboard for 90 seconds, then putting it back. The PC started booting into BIOS, I enabled the boot drive and set the CPU fan to ignore noise since there was a water cooler. After resetting again, it took about two minutes for the monitor to wake up and it booted to Windows. Everything is working now, and I don’t need to reinstall Windows yet. For now, I’m using only one stick of memory, but I plan to add another tomorrow. Thank you!

It is strongly recommended that you proceed. Running an operating system designed for a completely different computer is not advisable. Otherwise, issues such as driver/firmware conflicts, BSoD, and OS corruption could arise eventually.

Aeacus is correct.
Even if Windows seems to running okay at the moment, there's a good chance it will start misbehaving or throwing up errors further down the road.

Choose a fresh setup of Windows or install from an existing version? Where can I locate a key for a clean installation when I don’t have a Windows copy?

I bought Windows 10 a long time ago, and last year I upgraded to Windows 11 for free. Do I need to purchase the key again whenever I lose it?

Does the license include a Microsoft account, and was it an OEM or retail purchase?

I'm not sure, but you can verify your license in your Microsoft account by checking the settings or account details section.
