Approximate Purchase Date:
Can delay by a month if new components are released within a week.
Budget Range: 1700 to 2000 depending on how long the PC lasts
System Usage from Most to Least Important:
gaming, browsing the internet
Are you purchasing a monitor?
No, I currently have a 32 inch 244 hz ISP 1440p display
Parts to Upgrade:
(e.g., CPU, motherboard, RAM) All available
Do you need an operating system?
Yes
Preferred Websites for Parts:
Amazon, Newegg, or I’m near a microcenter (20 minutes away)
Location: United States
Parts Preferences:
By brand or type (e.g., I’d like to switch to an Intel CPU)
I prefer brands like Amd or Intell; I tend to favor Corsair, Samsungs, Samus, Evga, and MSI
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: They don’t offer this anymore?
Your Monitor Resolution: 1440p
Additional Comments: I’d like an SSD for the OS and 2TB for games, photos, etc. I also do some light photo editing for fun.

In my opinion, if you have a Microcenter nearby, it would be a great option. They offer solid combo pricing and on-site support and repairs. If you encounter any problems, it’s easy to visit and get the part instead of sending it off and waiting. Some components are also often more affordable on Amazon, like memory and drives.

I understand but over time that location is often a zoo. Sometimes it's worth paying more to have it nearby rather than waiting in a two-hour queue when items go on sale. Still, it's a good place! Do you have any updates on new parts to maximize value? I've been out of the loop for a while.

rgb is fine as long as it doesn't feel too annoying, similar to how corsairs' cue software works
