Pretty sure my system is underperforming (based on the specs and comparison to other people with similar specs). I built it myself (first time) and I'm not sure if I've done everything correctly.
Pulling like 30 fps on Overwatch and Valorant at Low Settings. Also, weird issue where my mouse stutters about sometimes. Thought it was the USB cables on the motherboard itself so I tried reconnecting but still nothing.
Here are specs:
MOBO
- msi pro b550m-vc wifi
3 fans (two in the front and one in the back)
CPU Cooler
- thermaltake frozen notte
RAM
- 32gb ddr4 3200mhz
PSUPPLY
- 850w gold standard fully mod
GPU
- RTX 3050 6gb gddr6
CPU
- Ryzen 7 5800x 16thread 8core
Storage is just a standard 1tb ssd nvme
Please help

Install the newest Nvida drivers directly from Nvidia. Ensure AMD chipset drivers are present. Verify that the BIOS is current.

RTX 3050 6GB may not match the RTX 3050 8GB in terms of performance. The clock speed is significantly lower and it features a 96bit bus compared to the 128bit bus of the higher model. Even with these differences, you might still achieve good results in games like Overwatch at lower settings. Please monitor your temperatures during testing; overheating could affect performance. If you have time, consider upgrading to a 5700X for better value. The larger power supply you mentioned may save money, but it could also increase costs if you opt for more powerful GPUs now.

Thank you for your feedback. I understand you're considering replacing the GPU and wondering about the CPU's condition. Given your setup with a 1080p monitor at 144hz, it seems you're aiming to maintain optimal performance.

I saved the Nvidia drivers already but the AMD chipset is still showing the 182 error. Even though I installed all the latest updates, it suggests there might be old drivers present.

Could this be the BIOS? Which version is installed? If it's outdated, the driver might fail to identify the board. It's important to resolve this before proceeding with testing or gaming.

I actually updated the BIOS and it functioned properly, so there might be another problem.

Did your Windows setup media match the most recent release from Microsoft's tool? An outdated install can lead to problems. This occurred after setting up a 3700x rig when the update was made. My installation was so outdated that my system became nearly nonfunctional until I erased the drive and applied the newest version then.
