New PC build
I own a 4.4 OC on my 6600k and a comparable cooler. As long as your vcore stays within (1.2v - 1.35v), the EVO should function properly.
The cooling method will largely depend on the CPU model. Overclocking by how much? Will it be done continuously or occasionally during intense usage? Nevertheless, Evo 212 will perform well for minor or moderate overclocking with a slight temperature rise. If you aim to push the CPU to its maximum, the Corsair H100i is a suitable choice.

For a slight overclock with a minor temperature rise, Evo 212 should work well. If heavy usage and maximum overclocking are expected, the Corsair H100i is a solid choice. I’m just planning a modest overclock and will likely keep it running at higher speeds mainly for gaming.
I'm just trying to speed it up a bit. This is my first PC build and I'm getting help from a friend to overclock it. I think I'll keep it running at a high overclock for gaming later.
For now, go with the EVO 212—it'll make a big difference if you're just starting and don't want to overclock too much.
After getting comfortable with overclocking, you can move on to the H100i. But in this case, it's not worth the extra cost...
