I’m aiming to improve my current setup. Right now I have an RX 570 4GIG with AMD FX 4300 and 16GB DDR3 RAM. I like the GPU but need a better CPU, more memory, and want recommendations for VR and games like GTA V and RED DEAD 2.

This setup should handle running games and VR smoothly, especially at high frame rates. The GPU isn't the strongest, but with today's specs it can run the games I enjoy at around 60 FPS on a CPU like the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-core processor, priced at $119.99 on Amazon. The motherboard options include the ASRock B450M PRO4 Micro ATX AM4 at $78.98 from Newegg.

Well that would be a cheaper upgrade to do. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever If you can afford it though- I'd get a Tomahawk max, R5 3600 and the same memory.

The CPU will assist, but your GPU remains a 570. I wouldn't expect to run a high-end VR setup on it, and I certainly won't aim for RDR2 at ultra settings. That title is poorly optimized.

I enjoy playing games such as Pavlov, Superhot, and I prefer not to die too badly, so I’m not planning on trying Fallout4 VR. I just want something that can handle itself much better.
