So 2.6 is in PTU (almost at the end) which means we receive a cinematic camera, a fresh naked male with 4K nether areas model, plus a new face rig and (probably) swappable heads. I think someone has done a solid job capturing the level of detail—down to sweat on skin and eyelashes. It was good enough to share here for those who don’t follow as closely as I do (thanks @CatCloud). Can’t wait to play Star Marine without it crashing. Also a bonus clip for the new naked male reference.
I've tested it from PTU 2.6.0j. It's quite enjoyable and Star Marine performs okay despite occasional lag. I'm not too concerned about the lag since network upgrades are expected in 3.0, but the Flight Model modifications remain a contentious issue among SC members. What's clear is that the new FM helps narrow the skill gap.
I haven't played in a while, around 2.2 years, but I've been really busy and didn't have time...
