In reality, yes. Over recent years, Ryzen processors have generally decreased in price slowly. The Ryzen 7 2700X was released at $330, while I purchased one for $200 a few months before the Zen 2 (Ryzen 3000) came out. Likewise, the 3600X launched at $250 and is now around $200, with the XT holding its original position. The reductions aren't huge, and it might be some time before any model offers a much better deal.
