I face a puzzling issue, my CPU temperatures remain consistently stable and excellent. The 9800X3D sits idle at 38°C and climbs to 65-70°C when under load. Recently, I’ve been playing intensely for several days. My cooler is a TRYX panorama SE and it functions perfectly. Occasionally, when I power on the system, the temperature display shows 100°C for the CPU and all fans kick into high gear. After roughly a minute, something inside the pump occurs—a brief, slushy noise—and everything returns to normal. I’ve removed all programs, double-checked the pump installation, applied fresh thermal paste, but I’m still stuck. Because the problem appears only occasionally, it’s tough to pinpoint the exact cause of this instability.

Verify the AIo positioning using the attached image. If the problem continues, consider swapping out the AIO, as a pump issue could be present. Also check hwinfo64 for consistent temperature readings; another possibility is air trapped in the pump, though that's uncommon.

The pump is functioning in the "OK" setting. I'm struggling to figure out why it hasn't been working consistently enough for me to use it effectively.

I also used HWinfo64, but it reported 100°C temperatures. It's strange because the airflow didn't feel warm, yet the CPU was clearly throttling since everything appeared slow on the screen.

consider starting by turning off all windows and letting the system cool down for about 10 to 15 minutes. Once it’s cold, power it back on and run a stress test program to heat up the CPU. Pay attention to the AIO tubes—feel if they’re warm or hot. This will confirm the pump is working properly. Keep the stress test running until you can, ensuring the entire AIO is fully saturated.

So update to this... The problem started getting more frequent: CPU goes to 100C and computer shuts it's self off. Now the computer only stays on for a few seconds. There no warmth in the aio tubes or warm air moving so I think it's the pump. IT'S BRAND NEW WTF. New TRYX PANORAMA cooler is on the way.

You've replaced the AIO, and everything seems fine until benchmarks hit 95°C. The fans aren't accelerating, and the CPU isn't activating properly despite being hot. All power connections look correct, and the BIOS is current. RAM passed testing. What should you do next?
