It remains on the TUF Gaming display, but pressing F2 or Del doesn’t work to enter BIOS. I used a different keyboard from a friend, but it still doesn’t function. No blue screen appears—just immediate boot into the TUF Gaming setup. The USB was formatted prior to creating the boot drive. I haven’t managed to install Windows yet because of this issue and feel restricted in accessing BIOS settings.
Yes, both the BIOS update USB and the Windows Install USB work the same. Regarding the CMOS reset, you removed the battery and let the capacitors discharge as instructed.
I would request a replacement part. When testing new RAM settings, it often stops completely (orange indicator) before I can share updates. Shorting the CLRTC and booting brings me straight to an AMI setup screen asking for BIOS changes. I don’t see the ASUS interface during the first start-up, after the AMI screen I jump right into the BIOS, apply modifications, restart, post again and then the ASUS display appears.
I'm also interested in the outcome. I assembled a PC about six months ago and encountered the same problem. Oddly enough, after relocating it to another space it started functioning normally and assumed everything was fine. Brought it back to their office and didn't share updates. It freezes or locks on the motherboard label, can't choose boot options, BIOS, or QFLASH. Tried three keyboards in each of the five USB ports. System: Windows 10 x64 Aorus x570 Pro WiFi 600 W SFX Corsair AMD Ryzen 3500x 4x8GB Corsair DDR4 RAM EVGA Nvidia 2060. Steps taken: Restarted using just one RAM stick (switched each stick in the designated slot), tested power supply with 24 and 8-pin connectors, reset CMOS by disconnecting the battery for four minutes, removed all extra peripherals including an SSD drive during startup. Now only the GPU, CPU, one 8GB DIMM, and an NVMe SSD remain installed. It powers on, fans spin, lights illuminate, and when the MoBo logo appears everything halts. Can't reach the boot menu or BIOS to check anything. Need advice if anyone has suggestions.
Are you asking about moving the device from one area of your home to another? Or did you attempt to start it at a friend's place? This matters because a weak power supply can cause issues. If multiple devices share the same circuit, problems may arise. Try recreating the issue by moving the system to another room and connecting it there. If it works, replace the power supply or uninterruptible power supply.
