New model - BIOS misrepresents RAM quantity/rate and fails to display RTX 4090.
I just finished setting up my new PC. I'm really new to all this stuff. I've watched many YouTube tutorials to help me along.
Now that I'm running, I opened the BIOS and everything looks good—correct CPU (i9-13900K), the right M2 drives (two Samsung 990 Pro), and the correct motherboard (Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master). But for RAM, it's showing the right brand but not the proper size or speed. I installed 96GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6400 MHz RAM, yet the BIOS lists 128GB of Corsair 4800 MHz RAM.
I also can't locate my graphics card in the BIOS. I have an RTX 4090 installed.
I'm a bit worried because I'm unsure if the build is stable or if I made a mistake. I don’t know if the fan speed readings are accurate. The CPU temperature shows 32°C, which seems normal. However, one of my case fans isn’t working at all, and another AIO fan isn’t lighting up either. I suspect there might be an issue with wiring or cable management that I overlooked. I think fixing it should be straightforward.
I have two Antec ARGB controllers, all the fans are present, the AIO fans are lit, and the RGB stand is not working but I think I might have missed something in the connections. I’m using all of the case fans, the AIO lighting, the AIO fan lights, and the RGB stand is connected via the controllers to the motherboard.
Any advice would be really helpful—especially on how to troubleshoot my RAM setup and why my GPU isn’t showing up in the BIOS. Also, I’d appreciate guidance on confirming whether the AIO pump is functioning properly.
