Hey there! It sounds like you're dealing with a locked-down MacBook Air. Since you don’t have admin access, you might need to contact your school for help or check if there’s an option to request admin privileges. If you’re new to Macs, consider using a virtual machine or a lightweight OS like ChromeOS to test things out without affecting your main system. Let me know if you need more guidance!

It’s best to avoid handling school devices since there could be serious consequences. Also, MacBooks aren’t ideal for gaming.

The reason a school laptop is restricted is clear. For freedom, use your personal device.

Press Cmd + S at startup. White text will appear on a black screen. Use these commands to create a new admin account (it will re-run the setup): /sbin/mount -uw / /sbin/mount -uw /

I understand, please keep it simple. MacBooks and school laptops aren't designed for gaming.

The school laptop isn't working properly. To bypass restrictions, try using services such as ninjaproxy.com or mousematrix.com.

Did your parents cover the cost of the laptop? If yes, you can use it for tasks like this. If not, it’s best to avoid trying that kind of work. I also have a MacBook Air through school, which my parents funded.

You can attempt to start a live Linux environment from it and then create a partition for a Linux disk. After that, you can install Linux using GRUB as the bootloader and enjoy booting with Boom. (Many games that work on Mac will also function well on Linux because both are based on Unix systems)
