Following some recommendations on purchasing a new laptop, I’m hoping the Black Friday deals are a great opportunity to save even more.
1. What is your budget?
Upto £500
2. What notebook size are you thinking about?
14-16”
3. What resolution do you require?
Don’t mind
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable is preferred but not necessary
5. How much battery life do you require?
Always close to power, so it’s not a big concern
6. Would you like to play games with your laptop? If yes, please list the titles and the settings you prefer for each (Low, Medium or High).
No gaming
7. What other activities do you plan to perform on your laptop?
Photo/video editing and storage are main uses
8. How much storage space do you need?
Minimum 256GB, preferred 512GB, though I’m open to adding external drives later
9. If you have specific websites in mind for buying, please share their links.

At least 5 years
11. What type of optical drive do you need?
DVD ROM/Writer, Bluray ROM/Writer, etc.

I had a bad experience with HP, so I’m cautious about them. Otherwise, I’m focusing on reliability and a device that will last five years or more

I’m willing to look at a used laptop if it’s under £400, though it can be tricky to gauge its real worth.
