Hi everyone,
I own a gaming desktop but face limitations because of setup and housing issues. Occasionally I need it for lighter tasks, such as document processing, streaming, and playing football manager. However, I’m interested in technology and considering the new Surface Pro 13 or MacBook M5. What advice would you give on this forum?

Yes, it will work. The streaming is available online, so everything should function properly. In terms of performance, the MacBook M5 appears to offer better value compared to other options.

Would a 16gb ram with a 512ssd fit? On deal with Sky for £35 a month. Compared to that, 24gb with 1tb would cost twice as much from Apple. Thanks

16GB works well for your needs. Storage-wise it’s a bit unclear, but after using iCloud and OneDrive for a long time, you mostly rely on cloud services rather than local storage.
