Hi everyone.
I'm looking to purchase a new laptop just for architectural tasks, 3D modeling, and rendering. I've limited my options to these two models that are nearby:
-ASUS TUF Dash 15 15.6", Intel Core i7-11370H, RTX 3070
-ASUS ROG Strix G17 17.3", AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3060
The TUF model has a weaker 4-core processor but includes an 8GB RTX 3070.
The ROG model offers a stronger processor but with a weaker 6GB RTX 3060.
Both are priced similarly.
Any suggestions?
Review the suggested specifications for all the programs you plan to use. Often, you can even contact the software developers and inquire directly about the ideal machine. Also keep in mind that the 17" size will be much larger and heavier.
