Since I installed this new PC, it keeps experiencing strange crashes where all the external devices lose power. The monitor stops receiving signals, but internal LEDs and fans remain operational. After the crash, the power button on the case won’t work, and I had to flip the PSU switch and restart the system. There are no error codes displayed, only the message "the system shut down unexpectedly." I’ll provide a detailed spec list and update it.

Following the RAM replacement, the same problem persisted, so I upgraded to a new motherboard and haven't encountered any issues now. It seems the original board might have been faulty.

It would be useful to understand that I've tested various power supplies and graphics cards yet the issue persists. The crashes occur unpredictably, not just during high usage.

I've encountered several problems with the BIOS on my Gigabyte board (my gaming X AX, which is essentially a motherboard with Wi-Fi). The only BIOS that works smoothly without crashes or strange issues is the original version they first released. Have you updated your BIOS? What version do you currently have? You can check by searching "system information" and opening the app—it will display something like F1 or F2b.

I have version 3.5 based on the system details. My friend assisted me with updating the BIOS, so I'm not entirely confident about that step.

I just got some new RAM sticks today and installed them... I'll post again soon to see if it solves the issue.

Do you recall facing the same issue with your Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2?
