So i've been waiting parts and collecting all year long for new parts to get a new computer. Even these cpu's took ages to arrive. Ryzen 9500X NH-D15 Black with white cover plates. Looks fantastic btw... ASUS Prime X570-Pro 2 kits of 2x8gb Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3600MHz (more from these later...) RM-1000x PSU 500Gb 980 Pro as bootdrive 2Tb Kingston KC2500 as game drive And all this in NZXT H710 case. All well and started to build last month. No GPU because i am NOT paying these prices for them. So i use my old 5700 XT. All well, built it and what not, but started to have a lot of memory issues. Specially Prime95 was stopping and giving roundoff to 0.4 errors. I ran Memtest86 and got a TON of issues. I tested memory modules on older system Ryzen 1700X X370 motherboard and one module didn't even boot with it. So, took the kit to be checked by warranty and turns out one memory module had a loose chip on it. So no warranty on it... Best of it was DIFFERENT memory module of the same kit, the older system refused to boot with. Oh well. Life's little joy when building system. I did contact Corsair, showed pics of the faulty modules and memtest and they asked me to mail the modules to them. They have a nice and helpful support i give that. Couple days and i started to wonder why my memory is running at stock speed? Memtest passes without issues so i kept wondering what... Prime95 kept showing same Rounding off error In BIOS it showed that no XMP/DOCP wasn't turned on. Ok, so i turn it on aaaaaaand... system reset the bios. What the ef...?? I couldn't set ANY memory speed, by XMP/DOCP or from manual, every single time the same thing. System resets BIOS... I was wondering if CPU was faulty. So i hauled to entire system to be check out. Just to be on the safe side. Turnes out the OTHER memory kit is also faulty. But in addition, the motherboard has to have memory slots A2 and B2 filled instead of A1 and B1 for the memory to be able to go above stock speeds. Manual only recommends the B1 and B2. first. So in a nutshell. All memory modules were faulty... First you have to waith for stuff to arrive or be able to buy and this crap happens. At least fixed now. I do have some some doubts of memory... This literally sucks as a consumer. I know companies make lot of parts and this hasn't been any easier time for them either. We jsut wait and wait and wait to seeo what we can get and possibly get faulty products fresh from aseembly. Oh and if/when i can get new GPU (whatever whenever that may be), i will also add white cablemods cables with black combs to make the setup look nicer. So here is my rant. Test your stuff. If you can.

Is it true that Corsair is dependable in this situation? I’ve noticed they’ve been consistent there.

For Corsair you need AMD-compatible parts with an M2Z module type, such as CMH16GX4M2 Z 3600C18. Corsair is known for sometimes causing issues with Ryzen setups. Crucial Ballistix would be a solid option. I’m not sure about your local used market, but 5700 XT models are fetching high prices here due to their mining performance. It might be worth selling one and using the funds for a GPU upgrade.

Their vehicle generally falls short when measured against modern expectations. Think about alternative options suggested by @Sjaakie.

I thought it was important, yet their supply here has been lacking throughout the year.

You need to check this, but that's the only GPU available right now. Thanks.
