Last week I made the switch to AMD for the first time. Everything in gaming has been smooth with no crashes. However, this evening while applying a Windows update, the RAM error light appeared. I waited three minutes before restarting the computer, and after that, the 00 error code showed up on the screen. I’ve tried resetting the CMOS by turning the PC back on, but the issue persists. The specs match exactly: AMD 9950x3d MSI Carbon X670e (latest BIOS) with 64GB Corsair Vengeance 6000 RAM.

No, I don't use MSI Mythic software. I don't have a motherboard manual that would relate to the code.

Do you have two or four RAM sticks installed? The 00 code often suggests a problem with CPU detection.

4 sticks refer to the CPU kill, and I’m thinking about updating the windows. I could try reseating the RAM tomorrow—it began with the RAM.

We usually fix things by taking out and putting in different components to see what’s causing the problem.
