Hey there! Just started here but have some experience with PC building. I've been assembling systems for myself and friends for about three decades (when did I really get old?). Right now I'm putting together a new rig and running into boot issues. I can't reach the post or start up, so I thought I'd check if updating the BIOS helped. Used QFlash to update it. The PC powers on with the power button but doesn’t enter post or boot. There are RAM errors showing up with the DRAM light—ranging from C5 (most common) to EC and AD depending on where you test. I’ve tried using one stick in every slot and still get the same problems. I also re-seated the CPU and looked for any damage on the pins, but nothing there. I’m feeling pretty stuck. Am I just getting old with this stuff? Any advice or suggestions would be great!

Initial RAM should be placed in slots A2 and B2. The CMH32GX5M2E6000C36 is listed as Intel memory on the manufacturer's website. https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/p/ddr5-ram...m2e6000c36 I haven't tried it myself, but opinions suggest it could function, though possibly at reduced speeds. This might be worth evaluating.

Ram was placed properly and tested with one stick in each slot. This is the second RAM model I've tried, chosen from the gigabyte site as a compatible option for the motherboard. Note that the 6000 speed performed better on the X3D chipset.
