They should be connected at the power supply unit end, ideally using multiple slots for better power delivery. The reason is that some GPUs require more power than others. Could you specify the GPU and PSU you're using?

You can connect the remaining two cables to the PSU from the GPU in a similar fashion, depending on the layout of your motherboard and PCIe slots. Make sure each cable is properly seated for stability.

You need two PCIe/CPU connectors for the CPU, leaving two PCIe/CPU slots on the power supply for the GPU. You should have two dual PCIe cables (8/6 pin configuration) to connect the GPU.

I changed the cable connections and made sure all the PSU labels were properly connected. It now functions perfectly! Your advice was really useful.
