New insights on Hackintosh-VML Intel problems in a fresh video by Linus.
Hello everyone, I'm working on getting Hackintosh to run on an RTX2060 using Linus video. I modified the OVMF file directions in XML files and removed all "value = ... object" sections as demonstrated in the video (I've attached my file). I placed the OVMF files in the same folder as Hackintosh, but when I run "virsh define hackintosh.xml" it doesn't boot or appears in Virtual Machine Manager. It still shows up if I type "virsh lsit --all" with the state set to "shut off." When I try "virsh --connect Hackintosh," I get an error: "error: failed to connect to the hypervisor – no connection driver available for URI 'Hackintosh' does not include a driver name." The CPU shows as i7-7700 mb: Asus Z270-P and KVM is activated in BIOS. GPU: RTX 2060 RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro (2x16) 2666mhz with OC to 3000mhz. Please help! Thanks, hackintosh.xml
He can set up a dual-boot system using alternative operating systems like Linux or another OS available on his hardware, avoiding both Mac and Windows entirely.
Still, your suggestion seems to align with a standard Hackintosh setup rather than the approach Linus and his team demonstrated earlier. There should be additional documentation available on the forum or in the video description. I'll check for it. EDIT: They included a link in the description (in case some missed it, since not everyone reads descriptions): https://passthroughpo.st/hackintosh-kvm-...x-chipset/
