Hello, I have an odd issue and am searching for a PC magician or someone who can assist. I attempted to assemble my new PC independently, which wasn't too difficult, but I quickly encountered some problems. First, the LCD screen on my AIO liquid cooler from Corsair stopped working (though everything was plugged in correctly, possibly due to software issues). Then, the pump of the same cooler failed to start when I turned on the PC, and the CPU temperature reached 88 degrees. However, I won’t go into those details too deeply since they aren’t central to my concern.

What’s important is that the main problem is random stuttering or lag in all games I’ve tried, even when FPS is high. The lag usually occurs when GPU usage drops significantly, while CPU and RAM remain stable. This suggests it’s not a CPU issue. My screen occasionally freezes or stutters for a few seconds before returning to normal, and sometimes I can play longer without issues, but other times games become unplayable depending on the day.

My PC is brand new, with all components and Windows 11 installed. Here are the details of my setup:
- Motherboard: Asus Prime Z790-A Wi-Fi
- GPU: RTX 4070 Ti Super (PlayStation Rock)
- CPU: Intel i7 14700KF
- RAM: 32 GB (2x 16 GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR5 5600MHz
- PCU: Corsair Be Quiet 750W 80 Plus GOLD
- Storage: Two NVMe SSDs, one 1 TB and another 2 TB

I’ve tried various solutions without success:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers (including GPU)
- Using the newest chipset from Intel
- Updating motherboard drivers
- BIOS updates
- Disabling HPET and HD audio
- Setting power plan to high performance
- Checking for RAM leaks
- Running latency monitoring in desktop and games

Results in Windows: All green, no issues. In games, screenshots show "Spoiler: Latency Mon ss". I’ve also checked the PCIe connections using GPU-Z and confirmed they’re correct.

I attempted to resolve the "Wdf01000.sys" problem but couldn’t, and reinstalling it caused a blue screen, forcing me to back up my system. I’ve tried many other fixes but nothing has worked. I’m running out of ideas. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Stuttering happens because of a brief shortage of an important resource, often the CPU. Look for other processes that might be causing conflicts. Sometimes apps cause problems by checking for updates. I searched for Wdf01000.sys and found a possible Bluetooth issue. Fixing that could help resolve the stuttering problem.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
RAM: 32gb(2x 16gb) corsair vengeance ddr5 5600MHz
The sweet spot for any DDR5 platform(both Intel and AMD) are DDR5-6000MHz with tight latencies. There's performance left on the table. I'd see if you can return and swap the existing kit for a higher spec'd kit.
Newest version of BIOS? - yes.
For the sake of relevance, can you please state the BIOS version you're on at this moment of time. As for the BIOS, if you flashed it prior to creating this thread, did you clear the CMOS after verifying your BIOS was successfully flashed?
Storage: 2 ssd Nvme discs, 1tb and 2tb
Please elaborate and state which slots they're populating on the board.
The PC is fresh, all the parts and windows11 - everything new.
Did you install the OS while all your drives were hooked up? You're advised to install the OS in
offline mode
, while all drives except the one you intend to install the OS onto is hooked to the motherboard. While yet in offline mode, install all drivers manually in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.
PCU: Corsair be quiet 750W 80 plus GOLD
Corsair and Be Quiet! are two different brands, which one do you have? Please mention the model of the unit as well. As it stands you merely included the advertised wattage and the advertised 80+ efficiency rating.
You forgot to mention the make and model of the AIO and the case you're working with. How is the cooler oriented in your case?

I attempted to disable most functions to see if anything would stop background processes.
Bluetooth was turned off now to check if that resolves the issue.
RAM situation: I’m not sure I can change this immediately, but I could upgrade later if needed.
BIOS version 1805 x64 is installed; CMOS was cleared and a screenshot from GPU-Z was attached.
Storage: You’re asking about the meaning of that? There are only two empty slots on my motherboard—one directly under the CPU and another just below the GPU on the right side.
Windows 11 was installed on a single drive, and I bought a second drive a couple of days later. After removing drivers with DDU, I installed them in offline mode to confirm it wasn’t the cause, and it didn’t happen.
Power supply: I made an error earlier—I used the CORSAIR 750W RMe SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET.
My setup includes:
: lian li o11 dynamic evo rgb and
AIO cooling
: iCUE h150i ELITE LCD XT display, the cooler is placed at the top of the case.
If you need a photo of the PC, I can provide it; temperatures are normal during gaming, with both CPU and GPU performing well.
Appreciate your help.
