You retain your choice and can choose whether to spend on trivial beauty products or not... right?

It seems like you're anticipating a low sales outcome.

I understand, but I really like the game and I don’t want to see more of this kind of content added. It feels like they’re putting in very little effort. Less than a fraction of an adventure priced around £15 should offer new characters with special powers and updated boards. Anyway, it seems Blizzard is stuck in a tough spot right now.

Sure. We've messed up TF2 and CS GO because of our need for cosmetic items, and Heartstone is coming right after *that*

I mainly focus on arena play, where you build a deck from 30 cards and aim to collect packs. I mostly stick to free-to-play, but I’ve purchased the adventures for around £24, which felt like a good investment.

It's hard to believe you're shocked, but remember, Blizzard exists to earn revenue.

They should consider using sound packs instead of skins. The existing chat features have become quite dull after two years.

If you're not interested, just skip it. Hearthstone stands out as one of the few games that's genuinely free to enjoy—just tackle quests and arena packs. Personally, I bought Naxx and Blackrock but haven’t played Warrior much, so I won’t be purchasing this reskin just yet. As you mentioned, adding cosmetic items doesn’t really change the experience.

Also any lol skin is worth at least 5 dollars and folks aren’t bothered by that, Blizzard is a business, not a nonprofit, Hearthstone is the sole game they’ve made, so I’m not a die-hard fan but I get why they’re doing it. They need to compensate staff.
