Digital Foundry graphics specialists examined the GeForce RTX 3050 tested by GIGABYTE, but did not consider it a complete success. The evaluation took place on a PC equipped with an Intel Core i9-10900K processor and 16 GB of RAM. The additional 2 GB of memory prevented the GeForce RTX 3050 from reaching the performance levels seen with the GeForce RTX 2060. Ideally, it should have been even slightly better, according to Digital Foundry. In practice, the GeForce RTX 3050 falls behind the GeForce RTX 2060 by 10-20%. The performance of the GeForce RTX 3050 is similar to that of the GTX 1660 Super. Benefits include support for ray tracing technology and DLSS.
