I recently changed from Nvidia to AMD (switched to 750 TI for two days until the 9070 XT comes), and I installed it correctly using DDU. After that, my PC requires 2 to 3 restarts before the monitors start up. Before turning off "auto update GPU" in DDU settings, disabling it would also reset my GPU drivers via Windows. What might be happening?

The notes generally advise updating all board drivers from the website, and BIOS updates should be handled alongside ensuring drivers are at the latest version.

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, provide your complete system details. List the specifications as follows:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the PSU age along with its make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this time.
I installed it correctly using DDU.
It is recommended to use DDU to uninstall all GPU drivers (Intel, Nvidia, AMD) in Safe Mode, then manually install the newest GPU driver from AMD's support site via an elevated command, for example, by right-clicking the installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

You've completed the DDU process, so you can simply retry the steps without needing further assistance.

There's a good chance your rig is now underpowered, just my .02...

Similar to 3070, 9070 requires a 220w power supply and suggests a 650w PSU. Non-overclocked versions of the 9070 XT consume 304w, so a lower minimum of 750w is advised, increasing if your model has factory overclocking.

Hmm, I dont overclock and I was sure 650W
should
be enough for 9070 xt as long as it is not overclocking (?) So it would be best if i swap in a new PSU? Why does the PSU cause this blackscreen issue :/

the manufacturer suggests a minimum of 750w psu, mainly due to power spikes every gpu does this.
https://www.sapphiretech.com/en/consumer...cification
you must also have 2 x 8-pin power connectors.
using just 1 8 pin connector per cable won't work if your psu has 2 8 pins at the end, as it won't power the card properly.
you'll need two separate cables.

Started today, experienced a black screen just once; one reboot resolved it.
Switched to 750W PSU and utilized the 2x8 pins.

It should also work well as a side precaution; ensure your bios adhere to the bios instructions. This should address any other unexpected issues.
