You seem to be having issues whenever you leave The Fort. It's not just the area outside causing trouble. I don't know what's behind it—no GECK, no official fix. You could try sending Maxxson to you using the code "prid 1cc18" and then "moveto player" to attempt completing the quest that way. Alternatively, finish the quest by entering "setstage 537ff 110" and "setstage 537ff 255." The problem might not be linked to the quest at all. Reinstalling the full game might resolve it, though that's unlikely. A mod built with TESSnip could be the culprit. Usually, mods with ESPs or scripts tend to break the game. Of course, just to be sure, try earlier save files—maybe you can finish the quest without entering the fort. (And if your saves are corrupted, consider backing up sooner.) In rare cases, outdated patches or file verification might solve the glitches. That's all for now.

Sure, just send over the save file and I'll take a look. It might suggest the issue isn't just with that file, or maybe I can try some tweaks to locate a solution. But I won't give any guarantees about finding a fix.

I was considering going back to an earlier save, but I'm not very good at saving often. Still, I'll give it a shot.

I downloaded your save file. Everything appears to function properly. I submitted your quest and placed you at Sanctuary Hills. It seems reinstalling all Fallout 4-related files and resetting settings to vanilla should resolve the issue. http://www.filedropper.com/save2d2ec9990...6235728382

Confirm the file is saved correctly. It functions properly now. The issue isn't the save file itself.
