I think that's the case. Or, as you point out, many can't find something out in stores but in many instances, retailers DO hold them in stock. As an example: this morning, I was planning to buy a PS5 as a gift for a relative. The store told me they don't have anymore in stock. But Sony did announce they have enough PS5s to ship for retail outlets (including Online stores) across the globe. Given also this Covid-19 pandemic, I felt tech companies like ASUS will use this advantage to 'hype' a product. As you alluded, Marketing is a dart art and I could be a victim of FOMO. But then, I'm still going to wait. If I can't get the Dark Hero, I might as well get an Aorus Xtreme or an x570 Mobo capable to run the latest AMD tech.
Hi Guiomar, please hold on... I'm also eager for the Dark Hero. I've located a Phanteks p500a case and placed a back order for a Ryzen 5000 from Newegg, expected around mid-December. I'm hoping my timing is right and not the only one waiting. Hope you get what you need!
It’s December 2nd and the product remains out of stock. My local Canada Computers estimated delivery around February. It’s disappointing I ordered a 5600x for a motherboard that feels dubious outside a handful of reviews. Now I see Strix e mobos vanishing, possibly due to frustration over delays.
The problem with reviews is the time gap between a product being reviewed and its availability. Used to be around two weeks or more, but now it’s even longer for many items. My perspective is I only see what’s actually in stores if I visit a few places. If something is available, it’s real; if not, it isn’t. This suggests that neither amphere nor RDNA2 really have a presence.
