New cooler

Hello, I'm looking to upgrade from the Intel Pentium G5400 to an Intel i5 11400F. I'm unsure if my Arctic Alpine 12 is compatible with the Intel 1200 socket and whether the CPU will experience thermal throttling. Should I also consider upgrading my CPU cooler? Thanks, Marek.

11400F isn't making much sense these days since 12400F is available. 12400F runs significantly faster and the price difference isn't huge. That cooler isn't too bad. Stock cooler is fine.

I recommend a mid-range motherboard around $150-$200 that supports 12th Gen Intel processors and DDR4 2133 MHz RAM.

Tip: Look for someone selling an old Noctua tower and install a new NF-F12 fan. Or check if the existing fan still works. I ended up with an AM4 tower for just 20 bucks, no issues there, and then added a new fan—now everything runs smoothly in my system.
