Yes, of course, ASUS will be even better (quieter). You'll still receive the same card, and you can always make minor adjustments at home. Those are just manufacturers' OC presets.
Yeah, I prefer not to handle hardware modifications at home (except for software adjustments). I’d rather keep the line clear. 😊
Thank you!
Another point—your selection of a 1 x 2TB NVMe drive sounds good. What if you opt for two of these instead?

For the power supply, can I use the one designed for the modular build? It’s cheaper but also more durable...

I just wanted to say I apologize for coming across as impatient or rude by frequently adjusting the build and asking questions. I’m just trying to ensure my choices don’t affect performance, especially since I’m not very skilled at interpreting hardware specifications. Really appreciate your time and the effort you put in!
It makes sense to discuss other components for your build. There’s no problem with choosing the 2tb NVMe SSD version, though it lacks a DRAM cache which is crucial for drives running an operating system. I’d consider a 2TB model with DRAM cache instead. That PSU is reportedly solid, but I’m not certain the protections have been confirmed by a reviewer. If it has been verified, it’s a solid value purchase; however, its 12VHPWR cable only supports up to 450W, making the 5080 the optimal choice for that connector. There’s another PSU available that’s higher quality and offers 850W capacity, but it costs $124.99.
Appreciate the input, helper800! Just trying to save a couple of bucks here and there without losing any performance.
I've started buying the components, following the recommended build from dark_globe (build posted below). Here's what I got so far:
GPU

CPU

Just to double check - that CPU is indeed the one recommended by dark_globe, right?
Still deciding on what to do regarding PSU and storage.
From the list provided, it seems you're focusing on the top choice with an A rating. The other two options are rated B, but the NZXT stands out as the most affordable. I’ll go with that one. Thanks! Looking forward to more component questions soon!
The motherboard is unavailable at NewEgg for the requested price; the closest option is $217 on Amazon. Should I proceed with that or choose another model? Also, do you require the heatsink version for storage, or is a standard one acceptable?
