Hello everyone Just upgraded from am4 to am5 for: Ryzen 9 9950x 48 gb ram trident (24 gb 8400 mhz x2) And motherboard Aorus Elite wifi7 x870 So yes, I went all in with the PSU, gamemax 1050w, GPU rtx 4070 ti. Just assembled everything and I got an annoying surprise—it stays stuck on code 15 (which is likely memory training or something similar) and then jumps to C5. The LED on the DRAM debugging stays lit all the time. I tried a different RAM stick, others in all slots didn’t help much. Nothing new so far. Now I’m thinking about resetting the BIOS and swapping RAM sticks each time. Any suggestions? Did I end up with both RAM sticks broken when they came new?

Even though it's not the main concern, kindly send the Gamemax PSU. They seem pretty doubtful.

Checked if lowering the RAM speed in BIOS worked. Started testing near 5200 MHz. Reference image: https://www.amd.com/en/products/processo...9950x.html

When the PC isn't updating, it can't reach the BIOS for changes. RAM settings usually stick at 4800 or 5200 regardless of XMP/EXPO.

They could be onto something, though. If it ends up running at an extremely high frequency, posting is probably not possible (I've seen this a few times). Getting 8400Mhz on a Ryzen 7000 or 9000 is nearly out of reach. The optimal range remains around 6000Mhz CL30. I’d consider swapping the RAM.

Yeah, but the ram just showed up. Exciting update—someone shared a post about it, and I’m planning to test both options right away. It’s been a wild ride with all the error messages popping up.

It's a good beginning. At least it's starting to function. Refreshing the BIOS might also boost RAM performance and compatibility.

Thank you for the help. I’m managing now without assistance, though I still check 08 or O8 on the error panel. Unclear why I kept turning it on.
