The icon changed its behavior—now it spins and bounces instead of just spinning. It reacted quickly when I pressed it, mainly due to the spin bounce effect. My peripherals noticed it immediately.

It could be that you mainly use Firefox and recently added Chrome to compare the differences. Oh well, maybe it's not for everyone to spot such distinctions.
