Hello,
I’m experiencing issues with my new build x870 Gigabyte Eagle ddr 5 wifi and 9800x3d. It won’t post. I had a CPU in another ASUS build that stopped working one day, so I sent it to ASUS for a resistor replacement. After reconnecting everything, nothing powered on. I checked all connections, cables, and self-tests (Corsair 1000 watt). Now the new Gigabyte Eagle works but the DRAM red light stays on. I moved the sticks around for 30 minutes each time without success. RAM was removed and still didn’t work. Is the CPU the next item to return for RMA?

And I also flashed the BIOS to the latest F9.
CPU 9800x3d
RAM ddr5 vengeance
PSU 1000 RMx
GPU 5070

I experienced an issue with CPUin another ASUS build that stopped functioning, so I had it sent to ASUS for repair. They replaced a resistor. It's possible the motherboard was damaged, or the processor might be faulty. The memory controller could be broken, or there may be a short in the RAM sticks.
RAM ddr5 vengeance
Do you have a link to this RAM kit? The RAM is installed in slots A2 and B2.
Did you attempt to build the system without a discrete GPU?

I started by removing and bench testing without a GPU, using only the onboard display. Nothing worked. I listed the RAM details and confirmed testing of the A2 and B2 slots one at a time, waiting as I learned about memory training.

Ended up being the 9800 CPU. I returned it for replacement and received a new one. It booted up correctly on the first try, and everything seems fine now. The red light on the DRAM is confusing, but the issue was actually with the memory controller from the old 9800. All is well now. Thanks everyone.
