802.11h was an update to 802.11a starting in 2004... The real standards available are a/b/g/n/ac/ad/ax, though ad is mostly obsolete and some features were combined into the newer 802.11ax standard. There are Wave 1 and Wave 2 versions of AC, but most everyday devices use Wave 1.

A is also somewhat uncommon, which occasionally proves useful since it runs slowly but employs an infrequently used device and can sometimes perform better under heavy load. Many older or budget home routers tend to use this feature less frequently.

All three devices operate within the identical 5GHz frequency range.

I thought it was another model. It doesn’t matter. Certain premium systems combine both simultaneously. A is B yet operates on a distinct frequency. The wavelength b generally stays higher or more crowded compared to A, making it useful occasionally. It’s less common now, depending on the context.

A represents the 5GHz variant of G, while B was restricted to 11Mbit. A supports 54Mbit, which is significantly higher than B's capacity. It seems no devices currently combine both simultaneously; however, Access Points can transmit both at once, though they function as distinct units.

They said it differently, but you might be correct.

Just a short visit to Google verifies this.

I spotted the problem, my PC isn’t getting enough power for a strong connection. After going downstairs, speeds dropped to 60-80Mbps at 2.4GHz and 130Mbps at 5GHz. I think moving the router or setting up an access point could help.
