The build process involved installing all components onto the motherboard, connecting the CPU to the PSU, attaching the GPU, installing the M.2 drive, and wiring power from the case. The system powers on and displays the motherboard splash screen briefly before showing an error about "over current detected on USB device." Despite no USB devices being connected, the issue persists. I've tried resetting the CMOS, adjusting RAM settings, and re-seating cables. The motherboard is in a cardboard box, which might cause shorts. It seems the bottom of the M.2 slot feels slightly sticky, though it appears consistent. What further actions should be considered?
I can't access the bios, the splash screen appears briefly but pressing the key doesn't seem to work, and I'm not sure if the keyboard is recognized. There seems to be a button on this board to flash the bios, but I'm uncertain whether it's advisable.
