I recently assembled a new machine with a fresh Windows 11 installation, but it keeps crashing and restarting unexpectedly. My earlier build used an Intel 7700K processor, whereas this one is AMD-based. I transferred several game drives and a brand new M.2 main drive, and everything looks clean except for the crashes. The diagnostic dump indicates a failure in DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, pointing to storahci.sys as the issue. I’ve searched online but don’t know how to resolve this. It seems the drives going into sleep mode might be triggering the crashes, though I’m unsure what steps to take without risking my two HDDs spinning unnecessarily.

Update the BIOS of the motherboard directly through the BIOS settings, not via Windows.
Inspect the hard drive using the manufacturer's diagnostic tool and, if possible, apply the available firmware updates.
Which devices are you working with?

Upload the dump file to a cloud service and provide a link. If required, save the kernel dump to C:\Windows\Memory.dmp; a temporary folder is acceptable.

Changed BIOS that way, I don't use the Windows method, it feels more difficult.
The drives function properly on my old system.
Updated hardware details are listed in the small tag.
It looks like this problem isn't unique—there seems to be an issue with AMD chipsets on certain boards and configurations. No clear solution found except disabling drive sleep.
