You're considering a build with the Ryzen 3 3100 and are curious about RAM compatibility. The ASRock B550M-ITX/AC supports DDR4 SDRAM, including the 2666 and 2667 variants. Your Vengeance LPX supports DDR4-2666, so it should work fine with the 2666 module. The 2667 is also compatible, just use the correct pinout. No issues expected.

2666mhz and 2667mhz refer to the same frequency. The difference comes from rounding. 2666MHz memory is typically 2666.6MHz and is occasionally rounded up to 2667MHz. This change has been implemented in CPUs, motherboards, and memory.

It will function, though you might miss out on 10-15% of potential performance using 2666 RAM versus 3200MHz RAM.

I understand I have 2666 RAM, but my sister's setup has 3200. I plan to replace the 2666 with the 3200.

I’d first verify if a 3100 is available. They’re tough to locate at their $99 MSRP. If not, I’d consider a 3600 or, depending on your budget, an i3 10100f/10105f (choose the 10105 if they match the price).
