Hi everyone,
Upgrading the working PC (x570 based mb) to a new PSU for an upgraded RTX GPU. The machine doesn’t boot properly—just RGB display and CPU fans spin briefly before stopping, no errors or post. A new GPU was connected using a 12V HPP cable. I reinstalled the old GPU (GTX1080) with the new PSU, but it still didn’t boot. Replacing both the old PSU and GPU worked, so it’s likely the issue is with the new PSU itself. I tested the output with a multimeter and confirmed all socket voltages are correct, which makes this case interesting. I should have checked the motherboard error lights, but I don’t remember seeing any. It seems there might be a faulty PSU, even though the multimeter says it’s okay. The new PSU is around 1200W (ATX3). Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

I retained the earlier sata power cables, but the psu didn't accept them.
