Turning off V-sync resolves the buzzing issue. But now it seems I’m running four distinct games simultaneously on the same display whenever I try to adjust the camera angle. Sounds like a lot to handle...

I used to play this game on the same hardware, did not experience this problem. So it's not the 4670k or 780 ti in general, whether you have a driver or hardware issue is another story.

The game runs smoothly on 3GB if that's accurate, assuming it handles 6GB at full resolution. Reducing texture details and shadows can help, as the system is loading from RAM or SSD instead of VRAM.

Rise of the Tomb Raider offers settings for Double-Buffering and Triple-Buffering in its options menu. When Vsync is active, testing both configurations can reveal their impact on performance. It seems you might already have double-buffering enabled, and changing to triple-buffering could potentially improve it. I'm just interested in observing the results if you switch between the two.

I attempted VSync with triple buffering to resolve the issue, but I didn’t experiment with double buffering or similar methods. I’ll try it again.
