I own the following components: Motherboard MSIB450, Tomahawk MAX CPU, R5 3600 processor, 16GB RAM, Corsair RMX1000 PSU, Inno3d 2060 Super GPU, switch to 3080ti. Initially it functioned and Windows loaded. After a few minutes of gaming I encountered a black screen and felt as though the system restarted. Subsequently I received "No Signal" errors and the motherboard displayed a red light on VGA. The GPU lights are operational. Attempts made: reset GPU, switched cables, used HDMI and DP connections. The older GPU still works. Cleared drivers from DDU, updated BIOS. Connected GPU via two separate power cables; no pigtail used. Tested on another machine, it worked there but not here. On my system CMOS was cleared, battery removed, PSU cable unplugged, and PCIe set to Gen3 instead of auto. Anyone know what might be causing the issue? The red light remains stuck on VGA.

Did you link both 2x PCI-E cables to the card instead of using one 1x PCI-E cable with a splitter at the end?

It involves two separate 6+2 PCIe cables connecting the power supply directly to the graphics card, without any raised cable included.

Yes... There are two individual 6+2 PCIe cables connecting the PSU to the GPU without using a raised cable.

Do you have another computer at home where you could test the card?

It functions on a different machine. That board has an x570 chipset. I attempted this today: installed the 2060S in PCIe slot 1 and the 3080Ti in the second PCIe lane. Used the 2060S as the primary output. Logged into Windows. Device Manager lists the 3080Ti, and the BIOS shows it as 3080Ti. The HDMI cable was changed to the 3080Ti port. Still no signal detected, but the 2060S worked in both ports.

It seems uncertain if it will function on another machine, possibly due to differences. Someone else might have a solution—consider thinking about it later. Edit: Would it be possible to detach the PSU from the other PC and connect it to your faulty GPU instead?

I also tried a different PSU, the Corsair RM1000x, but the problem persisted.

Today something unusual happened. I bought a brand new DP cable just to verify. My 3080ti ran well for 15 minutes with FurMark. Then, when closing the app, the system crashed. After that, it behaved like before and stopped posting.

I saw a Jayztwocents video recently about the 3080 Ti. After a BIOS update, it stopped working even though it functions on other systems and different GPUs in their original slots. The explanation was that the update pushed display ID compatibility beyond the safe limit, causing blank screens during startup. It might be time for a GPU firmware upgrade. For more details, check Guru3d's article on NVIDIA's response here: https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/nvidia...ssues.html
