I’m setting up my initial home network with cameras and a dedicated gaming room shed. I need both Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections to support it. Here’s the basic plan I have in mind. Note* I currently receive 2GB from the ISP and chose Unifi for a streamlined setup. ISP WAN → Cloud Gateway Max (UCG-Max-1TB) UCG-MAX → USW-Flex 2.5G 8-Port PoE Switch (Main House). From the Main Switch: U7-Lite Wi-Fi AP 2x UVC-G6-Turret Cameras (front and back of house) TV Cat6a cable (2.5G) connects to the shed. Cat6a Cable from the Shed to the shed switch. From the Shed Switch: U7-Lite Wi-Fi AP PC 1x UVC-G6-Turret Camera with links to the cloud gateway and various camera products. I’m using a TV Cat6a cable (2.5G) to the shed, then the same switch for additional devices. Thanks for any guidance!

Seems like a strong performance. I’m using the UCG-Max with the non-PoE Flex 2.5G 8-port setup, and everything has improved noticeably compared to my previous configuration.
