You need assistance getting Ubuntu up and running quickly. The system isn’t recognizing the built-in Ethernet port, which is causing connectivity issues. Your machine runs a fresh Ubuntu installation with 2GB of DDR2 RAM and 2Gb of memory. Let’s troubleshoot this together!

Do you possess a USB WiFi adapter or similar tool to help install the r8168-dkms package? That driver is meant for the network interface card.

No, it's not feasible. You can't simply download the package for Windows and move it to an Ubuntu PC via USB. Each operating system requires its own installation process.

If you understood the required links, downloading the package-list would demand a functional internet connection.

It looks like you checked the official Ubuntu website and confirmed the download was available.

Yes, you might need extra tools as well. If you attempt the installation, it will report issues when more packages are required, meaning you'll likely have to repeat the download process several times.
