The reasoning comes from evaluating performance differences between daisy-chaining Ethernet and the traditional hub-and-spoke setup. The comparison focuses on efficiency, speed, and reliability in network configurations.

I don't think it's better. I don't have an opinion on what works or doesn't. I just need to know if this setup is functional. The manufacturer suggests connecting devices in a chain, but if you link each one separately to the switch, will they all stay connected and communicate?

Hub-and-spoke is a solid approach. If you don’t have a strong opinion, it’s odd you began by criticizing your electrician. In future cabling projects, be very precise about your requirements so they can set it up accurately again. The diagrams on the TP-Link website indicate devices use Wi-Fi for backhaul rather than cables.

I'm accusing him of being foolish since I clearly explained the plan, but he didn't follow through because I wasn't present to supervise. Appreciate your assistance.

You're facing the same issue again. If you connect each device individually to the switch, communication between them may still be limited. It depends on the setup—some configurations allow isolated connections while others require a shared network. Could you clarify your wiring or the device requirements?
