Hello! I’m searching for a 16-port managed switch that doesn’t include PoE. Any suggestions on brands or models would be appreciated. Thanks!

TP link, netgear, linksys – nothing stands out about them. I’d advise being cautious about getting a 100 mbit model; none seem available on Amazon right now. Just keep an eye out if you’re purchasing something used. This would definitely be something I’d consider buying secondhand in FBMP or CL.

I don't have specific models in mind. I use various tools and resources based on your needs.

Looking for pricing options? Consider these brands—Netgear, TP-link, Microtik, Ubiquity, Dell, and HP—without focusing on your top picks.

You own a selection from each manufacturer, and while they vary in appearance, they all perform identically.

I suggest around 200 dollars, provided it includes a lot of features.

I believe you're seeking additional value from this product beyond its basic features. What are your goals for using this device? Do you already have a managed switch that tags VLANs on its ports, or do you need to manage VLANs through this switch? Are you simply expanding your home network by connecting more devices in a closet, or is there something more specific you're aiming for? These aren't straightforward or advanced setups unless you require prosumer or enterprise capabilities.

I plan to connect many gadgets. I require functionalities such as data access, bandwidth management, traffic regulation, VPN support, VLAN setup, and robust security measures.

New or used? Also, a 16-port gigabit connection is quite budget-friendly, even for managed switches—something a standard switch wouldn't handle.

I need to identify the specific switch model and brand. The VPN feature should allow secure connections across multiple network devices.
