Downloading a large game on Steam is challenging right now. I'm alone at home and only reaching 8mb/s, which is far below our typical 20mb/s. Steam indicates a maximum of 20mb/s at that setting, but it's currently capped at 8mb/s. The games I play often have huge ping increases, over 300ms, which is unusual. Likely the issue isn't the speed itself but something else affecting performance. With only 12mb/s available, it's hard to run games smoothly. Our Netgear Orbi Mesh Wifi 6 is connected via a Cat5e cable, which seems to be limiting performance. This setup isn't strong enough for higher speeds.
