Hi, I see you're facing issues connecting to your server from the internet on Windows Server 2019. Since you've disabled the firewall and haven't installed antivirus software, here are a few things to check:

- Ensure your network settings allow outgoing connections.
- Verify that your server's IP address is correctly configured in the firewall rules.
- Confirm there are no conflicting services blocking traffic.
- Try using a different port or protocol if needed.

If the problem persists, let me know more details!

I'm trying to establish a connection using the appropriate port(s). You've configured your network firewall to block the communication, so we need to bypass that. Setting up a RRAS VPN and using NPAS authentication would be ideal for Server 2019.

I’m connecting via VNC port. I set up the server as I did on another machine in my network, and there are no access issues online. I’ve already forwarded port 5900 through my router, and it’s functioning well—tested it on another PC before. Note that using the same port on multiple devices isn’t recommended, but I’ve tried other similar ports too.

If the setup functions on other machines, the main recommendation is to enable the port you're using through the firewall and route it to your server, then retest. You might also try tools like WireShark on the server to verify traffic flow. If the traffic arrives but doesn't respond, the problem likely lies in the VNC server setup.

I've also tested with another app (minecraft server on port 25565), but even after forwarding the port and disabling the firewall, it didn't work. I'll try using WireShark next.

It seems there might be a problem with forwarding traffic. I’d test reaching those ports from another device inside the network to verify local access. If successful, the issue likely lies with the network firewall rather than the server itself.

It's unusual since the same setup functions on different servers, but there might be an underlying reason.

Without full details of your network setup and IP addresses, providing targeted assistance is challenging. This isn't about the server itself but rather related to network configuration or routing rules.

I know details about my network if you'd like. I have a FritzBox 7430 as the router, with IP configuration 192.168.178.131, subnet 255.255.255.0, and gateway 192.167.178.1. The router directs ports 5900 and 25565 to the server IP. All other devices requiring port forwarding have worked smoothly with this setup.

Are those IP addresses accurate? If yes, their placement in separate subnets suggests the issue. I recommend moving the server to the same subnet as the gateway or router. EDIT: It seems there might be a typo—192.167.x.x isn't a valid private IP. The gateway address should be updated accordingly.
