I recently purchased a tp-link 8 port switch but it isn’t functioning properly. I have a cat6 cable connecting my router, which splits into four computers. Often the devices don’t recognize the connection at all, or if they do, it’s unstable—switching on and off. My router is a Huawei model.
Have you tested various cables? It might simply be a faulty switch.
Wires are perfectly fine. They function effectively when linked straight from the router.
Is this a managed or unmanaged switch? Can you post the full model or a link to the switch?
Are you confirming the functionality of the Ethernet connection on your Huawei router?
