Check if the modem/router is handling the router duties properly. Determine whether the problem started recently or has always been present.
It appears the software is functioning smoothly on the laptop.
It appears the issue is likely on the PC side, possibly due to a malfunctioning network adapter. Is this hardware integrated into the motherboard or do you have an external network card?
Check the areas where the cable connects to the PC; you should see indicator lights for both power and activity status. If integrated into the motherboard, they’ll appear elsewhere, while a network card will be positioned near the graphics slot.
